Whether it is sign language or braille, the transition is life-changing and that is the reality that any sighted person turned blind has to deal with in addition to losing their sight.
We invite you to journey with us, to step into our shoes and walk our path for just ten minutes. We will take you on a trip to re-learn your ABC in braille and to appreciate the challenge of living with limited, current and appropriate reading material, carry the weight of large and heavy braille books/magazines and acquire a taste for audio text books, novels and movies.
